  • Title: 1800 man-hours and countless dollars, this incredible one-of-a-kind 1971 Chevrolet Nova Pro-Street machine is ready to hit the street or strip! This spectacular Nova was professionally built as a true Pro-Street car, a daily driver drag-car so to speak. Only the best components were used throughout and no expense was spared. It all started with a perfect 1971 Chevrolet Nova body, a complete all-metal body with no patchwork whatsoever. The door handles, door & trunk key tumblers were removed and completely smoothed out. All of the emblems were removed as well. Brand new stainless trim was installed all the way around including brand new bumpers. Brand new lighting assemblies, door and window seals were also installed. Brand new ‘smoke gray’ tinted glass was installed all of the way around. A very expensive base coat/clear coat paint job was applied using DuPont Chroma Premier paint in a beautiful shade of Gun Metal Gray. The interior / undercarriage were painted in a Light Gray primer using Hot Rod Flatz paint. Under the hood, Hot Rod Flatz Dark Gray primer was used. The body is laser straight all of the way around the car and the paint is absolutely flawless. The 4” cowl fiberglass hood was finished in matte black and looks ominous on this Nova. All chassis parts are from Chris Alston Chassis Works in Sacramento California. Chassis features include: front sub-frame w/ Wilwood disc brakes, tubular control arms, anti-roll bar and front coil over shocks, 4 Link rear suspension w/ Wilwood brakes, Wilwood E-Brake, anti-roll bar and rear coil over shocks, Wilwood 7/8 master cylinder, adjustable brake proportioning valve, 10-point roll cage w/ swing out bars for easy access and custom built exterior mounted fuel cell w/ access through trunk. This is a full frame vehicle built to withstand 1000+ HP. The Pro-Street interior was custom built from the firewall back to the taillight panel w/ large wheel tubs. Interior features include: brand new factory interior from the floor up, Hunsaker racing bucket seats w/ 5-point harnesses, completely rebuilt steering column w/ Intro Pentia steering wheel, Twist Machine paddle shifters, set of (8) Auto Meter Phantom gauges mounted in a Corvan dash panel, Compushift transmission controller w/ display mounted in ashtray, TCI Outlaw racing shifter, center console w/ power windows, door popper / trunk popper switches and Hot Rod Air Climate Control featuring air conditioning / heat / defrost / floor / vent. Again, this is a true drag car built to drive on the street and we all know how important creature comforts are. Now lets pop open the hood and get down to business! Power train features include: GM Performance ZZ 572/620 hp engine, Milodon 7-quart pan and oil pick up, Lemons custom built headers with 2 1/8” in tube and 3 ½” collectors, 3 ½” oval pipe exhaust w/ Flowmaster Series 40 mufflers, Hamburgers Remote Mount oil filter & block filter adapter, oil cooler w/ electronically controlled fan, Billet Specialties VTRAC accessory drive system, Ron Davis radiator w/ (2) 16” electronically controlled fans, GM Performance 4L85e Supermatic 4-speed automatic transmission w/ lock up converter & 1400 stall, auxiliary transmission cooler in addition to transmission cooler in radiator, Inland Empire 3.5” aluminum drive shaft, narrowed Ford 9” w/ Strange built 3rd member, 3.70 gear ratio, Detroit Locker Posi and Strange 31 spline S/T axles. She’s got a perfect stance, sitting on Intro Pentia wheels (20X15 on the rear and 18X7 up front) and Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R tires (29/18/R20LT on the rear and 26/8/R18LT up front). This gorgeous 1971 Chevrolet Nova Pro-Street car starts, runs, drives, steers and brakes perfectly and to say it’s fast is a gross understatement. Only 95 test miles have been driven since the completion of the build so rest assured you are getting a brand new car. She has never been raced, on the street or at the strip, so we are not sure of what kind of times she will turn. When I drove the car to do the photos, people were jumping out at stoplights to snap photos with their Smart Phones. This incredible Pro-Street machine looks awesome from any angle and again, she’s got an ominous image that only a Nova can provide. A thick, complete binder of receipts and build information will go to the new owner along with the free & clear title. Someone is going to get an amazing car, period. About Us

RED HILLS RODS and CHOPPERS INC. specializes in rare Muscle Cars, Hot Rods and Custom Choppers. Based in Saint George, Utah, R.H.R.C. was founded by Steven Ray Anastos after he relocated to Utah from Southern California. Steven has been dealing in high-end Mopar Muscle Cars since 2003 where he did business in California under the name "Steve’s Killer Bees".

Having ridden motorcycles his whole life, he decided to expand the business by dealing in Custom Choppers, Harley-Davidson and Indian Motorcycles in addition to his growing Muscle Car and Hot Rod business. The stunning landscape, beautiful weather, open roads and no helmet laws make Utah the perfect place for such a business.

After finding the ideal location with tons of visibility, Steven opened a brand new showroom in Saint George and plans on being around a very long time. The showroom is very unique as there is nothing else like it in Southern Utah. The area is starving for a taste of the Hot Rod Kulture and R.H.R.C. plans on getting in on the ground floor. They sell Helmets, Goggles, Sunglasses, Hats, Beanies, Jewelry, DVD’s, Books and Hot Rod Collectibles such as Rat Fink, Von Dutch, Clay Smith and Mooneyes. They also market their own line of R.H.R.C. apparel.

Much of their business has been and will continue to be internet-based, especially the sale of their high-end Muscle Cars and Hot Rods as many of them are in the six-figure category. They intend to start selling these rare vehicles locally as there seems to be quite a following for Muscle Cars, Hot Rods and Motorcycles in the Southern Utah area.

R.H.R.C. holds Car Shows and Special Events monthly at their Saint George location so stop by and see their incredible selection of inventory. If you are not already on their mailing list, please call or email with your contact information and they will keep you informed of any and all events.
