International Car Shipping EXCEPTIONALLY RARE SUPER COBRA JET WITH 4.30 DRAG PACK OPTION! ONE OF ONLY 51 EVER ORDERED! LOADED WITH OPTIONS & VERY RARE COLOR COMBINATION! THIS IS FORD'S SPECIFICATIONS Year 1970 Make Ford Model Mustang Mach 1 Super Cobra Jet/Drag Pack VIN 0F05R112960 Mileage 91,059 Engine 428ci SCJ Cylinders V8 Transmission C6 Automatic Title Clear Color White Interior Color Medium Blue DESCRIPTION It was arguably the peak of the muscle car scene, when horsepower was at its all time highest point, torque curves were off the charts, and all American manufacturers were striving for supremacy at the drag strip; the year was 1970! Showrooms everywhere were filled with powerhouse cars like the Chevelle LS-6, Hemi Cuda, Challenger R/T, Buick GSX, Olds 442 W-30, and the Ford Mustang Mach I 428 Super Cobra Jet! Like most cars of that era, horsepower was severely underrated by the automakers to look more presentable to insurance companies. What was printed on paper was a mere hint of what was really under the hood!

The ultra rare 1970 Ford Mustang Mach I SCJ is finished in its original color combination of White over Medium Blue interior and boasts a load of factory options! This includes the R-code 428ci V8 Ram Air engine producing a modest 335 horsepower and 440 ft lbs of torque! It was ordered to be fast at the track, so it mates to a C6 Select Shift Cruise-O-Matic and optional W-code 4.30 Drag Pack rear axle. Only 51 cars ever left the factory as Super Cobra Jet Ram Air cars with the 4.30 Detroit Locker rear end. An indestructible N-case rear end with straight cut gears and 31 spine axles planted instant power to the ground and launched these cars aggressively! In addition, this car was ordered with Black hood stripe, Rear deck spoiler, Rear window sport slats, Power front disc brakes, Power steering, AM radio, All tinted glass, Deluxe seatbelts with warning light, and rare factory dash Tachometer!

It boasts a 2-year old cosmetic and mechanical restoration to an all-original, rust free body. Retaining all original steel quarters, fenders, door skins, floor pans, and trunk panels, it was professionally painted; all original CarLite window glass including windshield is still present; all original interior seat upholstery, dash, console, door panels, seatbelts, with exception only to the new carpet! The correct 1969 date-coded 428 block was completely rebuilt, but has never been over-bored or sleeved. It maintains all original internals including correct pistons, crank, cam, harmonic balancer, and Lemans style capscrew connecting rods. The original heads were resurfaced and received stainless steel valves and guides to properly run on today’s unleaded fuels. It even retains the correct date-coded carburetor specific to SCJ with automatics with cabin pull lever choke. The C6 transmission received a similar stock overhaul and maintains the correct cast iron tail shaft, “R” servo, & proper speedometer adapter! All the correct smog equipment including A.I.R. pump, tubes, and diverter valve are fully intact! Today, this engine and drivetrain have roughly 300 miles and run like nothing you have felt before!

Our Mustang Mach I SCJ will come with plenty of supporting documentation that includes the Elite Marti Report easily identifying this example as a 1 of 1 when factoring all factory option attributes, an original production build sheet, and original aluminum engine tag specific to 428 SCJ’s with C6 automatics! It was impressively detailed for shows by Shelby specialist, Chris Brown, of Browns Auto Body with correct inspection stickers, suspension markings, and factory engine and trunk lid stickers! It is an amazing car to view in person, but any serious buyer who has the privilege to run this car down the street is in for a real treat! The raw sound and power this car creates is spectacular on every level! Please review these photos and feel free to call with additional questions. Serious inquiries only please!
