FAQ:
Q: Do you accept trades?
A: I will accept a trade, but I’m fairly picky…meaning not your Honda or the 3 cars you have sitting in your front yard. Trades that would catch my attention: GT-R, S600, S65, Supra (street car, not race car), Gallardo…you see where I’m going with this. Note: No other race cars!
Q: Is it streetable?
A: Anything’s possible, but as it sits right now – I would not street drive the car.
Q: Can it be made streetable?
A: At very least, I would suggest swapping the spool rear for either limited slip or locker type setup – both available from Moser, a much larger transmission cooler and adding a 16v alternator.
After this, maybe a smaller 1800hp IC and move it under the dash and swap the 106mm turbo for a 98-101mm. Anything after this is to personal taste.
Q: Does it run on pump gas?
A: Right now it has a killer C16 only tune, but I have little doubt it could be tuned for pump gas and make way over 1,000rwhp.
Q: What does it need?
A: Nothing :)
Q: Does it have A/C?
A: Nope, no A/C & no heat…it’s a race car or a fair weather driver :)
1994 Toyota Supra
Offered forsale is possibly one of the most unique and most powerful Supras you will ever run across. This car is an original 53k mile Twin Turbo 6spd Supra. Over the last 2yrs it has undergone a transformation into a 1-off, completely custom Turbo V8 Supra. Absolutely no expense was spared when building the very reliable 2200hp+ race motor, the deadenbare Power Glide with straight cut 1.80 gear set or any other part of this car.
There is over $75,000 in parts alone in this car. Anyone who has priced out top of the line turbo motors knows that a motor making well over 2,000hp on a consistent basis can go for $35,000 - $50,000 for the long block alone. The motor was built by J&E Performance in NJ – one of the most well known and quickest race shops around. The motor was tuned to perfection in their 10.5 Quick 8 car laying down low 7second passes at 197-199mph. This car requires absolutely no tuning to race as-is!! Only small adjustments are required to suit your track - using the Digital MSD Ignition box.
I’ve only had it to the track a handful of times and even with limited seat time, it turned:
1.32 60’ times
5.80’s @ 130+ on 15-16psi
5.35 @ 141 on ~20psi
The car will coast to 9.30’s, after a 1/8 mile 5.80 pass. It’s an animal.
A few of the car’s highlights:
8.50 second cage
New MT Front Runner tires
·Aluma-Star 2.0 1-piece front wheels
Centerline 15x10 rear wheels
New Hoosier drag radials 325/50/15
Aerospace Engineering f/r brakes
J&E Performance built 377” Brodix block / Brodix head motor. A few more motor details can be discussed with the buyer. Honestly, some of the specs (i.e. cam, parts of head, etc.) where spec’d out by J&E and even I don’t know the details and they won't tell you. This is why they win so much :)
106mm turbo
·PT-2400 water to air intercooler
·Dual oil catch cans
Hogan intake
·160lb injectors
· Weldon fuel pump 2345 (2400hp)
· Custom Power Glide with 1.80 straight cut gear set & deadenbare case
·Mustang steering rack
·Moser 8.8 rear end
· “stock type” adjustable rear suspension setup legal for drag radial class
·3 gallon fuel cell
·5 gallon ice/water cell
·Dual 16 volt batteries
·MDS 7531 Digital Ignition box
·FAST ECU
·Digital boost controller – controls boost ramp by time
·Painless wiring kit with roll bar mounted controls
·TRD steering wheel
In addition to several months of R&D / fabrication, you would need a minimum $75,000 in parts + the donor Supra + many, many thousand dollars in labor for the build and tuning. Cost to duplicate is easily $115,000+, besides the amount of time required to build and tune the car.
For the buyer, I will also include a 16 volt battery charger, generator and an open car trailer to get it home J Possible some depends as well for your first ride!
