Puch-Allstate-Sears Sabre 50 piston kit. This is a new piston kit 38mm (the only size) for the Sabre 50 engines. This is for the 4 (four) speed 50cc engines. This is not the kit for Maxi series mopeds or the old 50's & 60's mopeds. If you need one of those kits we stock those too. Please look at our other listings for those kits. This kit is 38mm diameter; it comes with the new piston, piston rings, a new 12mm wrist pin, and 2 wrist pin circlips.
The bore on the Sabre 50 is hard chrome plated. If your bore is damaged you will need to have the cylinder re-plated. There is a lovely company in Ohio called Bore-Tech. Bill (the owner) can do a top-notch job of re-plating you Sabre 50 cylinder once you have a new piston in hand. There are no oversize pistons available for the Sabre 50 at all.
